Caseworker for Foster Care

Join our team of foster care caseworkers!

Family Care Services is a non-profit human services agency working with children in foster care and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for an individual to provide case management duties to children in foster homes. EOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing reports and progress notes.
  • Maintaining client and home charts.
  • Supervising clients in homes by doing home visits.
  • Attending meetings and court hearings.
  • Attending trainings.
  • Supervises visitation between foster children and birth family.
  • Facilitating trainings to foster parents.
  • Responding to phone calls and emails.
  • Be a liaison with birth families, school, county agencies, and other providers.
  • Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail and deadline orientated
  • Organized
  • Must pass background checks

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field required.
  • Extensive experience is preferred, but not required.

Job type:

  • Full Time

Salary:

  • $40,000-46,000 annually. Salary is based on assigned caseload.
